Rodrygo Goes, Real Madrid’s 2nd best goalscorer this season, hasn’t featured in a La Liga matchday squad since the 26th January when Real Madrid faced Real Valladolid. The Brazilian played 90 minutes that day, but for some reason, Zinedine Zidane did not call him up anymore ever since. His last appearance for the first team came in early February when Los Blancos were eliminated by Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey. Rodrygo played 14 minutes and even scored a goal, but it still wasn’t enough to convince Zidane.
Two weeks ago, the winger made his comeback for Raúl’s Castilla side against San Sebastián de los Reyes where he scored a fantastic solo goal which resulted into a red card due to a provocative celebration against the opponents goalkeeper. As a result, he wasn’t allowed to feature in last weeks Clásico.
However, Castilla coach Raúl González didn’t include the Brazilian youngster in his squad for todays match against FC Coruxo which led to speculations about a possible La Liga return for the teenager.
