Zinedine Zidane has selected a 19-man squad as Real Madrid play host to Granada on Saturday afternoon at the Santiago Bernabéu (16:00 CET). The clash is corresponding to the eighth matchday of the 2019/20 LaLiga season.

Thibaut Courtois has been diagnosed and treated for an acute case of gastroenteritis, which means that he is unable to take part in tomorrow’s match. Marcelo suffered a relapse of his previous injury that kept him out of action since September 14 and will need to spend some more time on the sidelines.

Nacho Fernandez hurt his knee against Club Brugge on Wednesday and will be out of action for approximately 2-3 months. Ferland Mendy and Marco Asensio are still recovering from their respective injuries.

Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez make their return to the squad, after having been left out of the mid-week Champions League match against Brugge.

Rodrygo Goes, who marked his official debut with a goal against Osasuna, has also been included in the squad. The young Brazilian was expected to feature more since his impressive debut, but Zidane left him out of the squad in the last two matches against Atletico and Club Brugge.

Lucas Vázquez, Brahim, Mariano and Vinicius Jr. have been left out due to the coach’s technical decision.

MIDFIELDERS: Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Casemiro, Fede Valverde, James Rodriguez, Isco.
