Real Madrid’s Ukranian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin has joined Real Valladolid on loan until June 2020. Real Madrid announced the deal on their website to confirm the reports that had suggested this move for Lunin. Real Madrid are in very good terms with Real Valladolid because of Ronaldo Nazario as the legend has facilitated valuable opportunities for young Real Madrid players to gain significant experience in La Liga. Earlier, Jorge de Frutos and Javi Sanchez joined Valladolid from Real Madrid.
Lunin is clearly seen as a future prospect at Real Madrid as Keylor Navas seems to stay as the second-choice goalkeeper. Lunin came to pre-season training in great form after winning the under-20 World Cup with his national team where he also won the golden glove award. Lunin already has some experience in La Liga as he spent the last season on loan at Leganes but he played only 5 games.
