Is Erling Braut Haaland ready for Real Madrid?
Alf Ingve Berntsen, who coached Haaland at second-tier Bryne FK, certainly thinks so.
Speaking to the Bernabeu Digital in an exclusive interview, Berntsen said:
“If I were a coach of one of the five best teams in the world, I would buy him immediately. If they don’t, they will regret it later. I see him ready to play for Madrid, and I think he could succeed there. He is only 19 years old, and can still improve so many facets of his game.”
The Borussia Dortmund star’s former mentor continued to praise the Madrid target:
“From the age of 11, we already thought he could become an international star, but I am surprised that he has achieved it so quickly. We never imagined that he would become the second top scorer in the UEFA Champions League as a teenager.”
Reports in Spain have heavily linked Los Blancos with an approach for Haaland this summer.
Though news in Germany suggests Dortmund are keen to keep the Norwegian until 2021.
