The new season didn’t even officially start yet and with Mendy there have been three injured players already at Real Madrid.
As the Club confirmed on late Thursday evening, Ferland Mendy has been diagnosed with a muscular injury to the anterior part of his right calf and his recovery will continue to be assessed. The left-back, who joined Real Madrid this summer, is expected to be out for 3-4 weeks which is a big blow for Real Madrid as well as his ambitions to fight for a spot in the starting line-up for the start of the new season.
