Confirmed: Real Madrid’s travelling squad for pre-season

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has named a 29-man travelling squad for the 2019 pre-season tour.

The Whites will continue their preparations for the 2019/20 season in Canada, at the Montreal Impact facilities, where they also trained in the summer of 2016.  Then they will fly to the Unites States, where they are set to play three games in the International Champions Cup. The first game comes against Bayern Munich on July 21 at the NRG Stadium in Houston.

Confirmed traveling squad:


Goalkeepers: Courtois, Navas, Lunin, Altube.

Defenders: Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Odriozola, Mendy, De la Fuente, Javi Hernández.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Isco, Seoane, Fidalgo.

Forwards: Mariano, Benzema, Bale, Lucas V., Asensio, Brahim, Vinicius Jr., Hazard, Jovic, Rodrygo, Kubo.

The absentee’s from the squad are Luca, who is expected to leave on loan, Casemiro, Militao, Valverde, Vallejo and Ceballos were given extended holidays due to their international commitments, and James Rodriguez, who is also expected to leave the club this summer.
