Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is taking a 24-man squad to Munich for the 2019 Audi Cup, which will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

Thibaut Courtois suffered an injury meaning he won’t be making the trip to Germany and will be on the sidelines for a month, while Casemiro, James Rodríguez and Éder Militão also sit out having just returned to training today following their extended holidays.

Federico Valverde, who was also given extended holidays, and did not participate in the Canada and United States tour, is included in the squad. Brahim Díaz, Ferland Mendy and Luka Jović are still recovering from their injuries and will stay in Madrid.
