Zinedine Zidane has named a 19-man squad for Real Madrid’s first home match of the 2019/20 LaLiga season. The Whites will welcome Real Valladolid at the Santiago Bernabéu tomorrow for the second matchday (19:00 CET).

Dani Carvajal, who was forced to sit out our opening match against Celta Vigo last weekend due to a suspension that he carried from the previous campaign, returns to the squad. Meanwhile, Alvaro Odriozola has been left out, alongside Ferland Mendy, who just returned from an injury.

Luka Modric is another absentee as he was sent off against Celta Vigo last week and was handed a one-match ban. Mariano Díaz, whose future is still uncertain and was training away from the group the whole week, is not included.
