Confirmed: Real Madrid’s 19-man squad for El Clásico

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has named a 19-man squad for Sunday’s El Clásico against Barcelona, which will be played at the Santiago Bernabéu (21:00 CET), corresponding to matchday 26 of the 2019/20 LaLiga season.

Nacho Fernandez, James Rodriguez, Brahim & Luka Jovic have been left out by the coach. Rodrygo is suspended after picking up a red card while playing for Castilla last weekend. Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio miss out through injury. Mariano surprisingly makes a return to the squad instead of Luka Jovic.

FULL SQUAD:

GOALKEEPERS: Alphonse Areola, Thibaut Courtois, Toni Fuidias.

DEFENDERS: Dani Carvajal, Éder Militão, Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Ferland Mendy, Marcelo.

MIDFIELDERS: Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Casemiro, Fede Valverde, Isco.

FORWARDS: Karim Benzema, Mariano Diaz, Gareth Bale, Lucas Vazquez, Vinicius Jr.
