Arsenal seem to be very interested in taking Dani Ceballos on loan for the upcoming season without a purchase option, according to MARCA.
For some time it looked like Arsenal’s arch rivals Tottenham would be the favourite to land the transfer of the Spanish midfielder, but the Spurs wanted a permanent move or a loan move with a purchase option which wasn’t in the plans of Real Madrid and Ceballos.
The latter said only recently that he doesn’t want to be sold, but he wants to play more and feel important. Therefore the only logical option is a season long loan deal. At Arsenal he can get exactly that. The North London club is reportedly very limited in terms of transfer budget and that’s why the deal could be the ideal solution for all parties.
Arsenal would pay Ceballos’ whole salary and are now waiting for an answer from Los Blancos after submitting an offer.
